Hi, can you tell us a little about yourself and introduce yourself to everyone?

Hello, musically, I am multi-genre oriented. I am not afraid to listen to almost everything from rock, metal, rap, but also classical music or punk.. , so I'm not afraid of almost anything, but I avoid death metal, which I probably haven't matured to yet :-), otherwise I like sports, especially cycling or longer walks, I also appreciate a good movie, I really like to meet with friends, or take care of family.

How long have you been listening to metal and what band got you into it?

It was sometime around 2000 when we were going on a school multi-day sports camp and the teacher puts a cassette in the player called Alkehol and starts playing the song “Ballad of John”, at that time already a 5-year-old album "NA ZDRAVÍ" but for me a complete novelty, that weekend I heard that album probably 10 times.. and I was already hooked. After arriving home, it all started and logically the next band I came across while searching and exchanging cassettes and held me for a really long time was Kabát. I started listening to Czech bands that at that time were either in full force or on the rise, of course I can't leave out the band Orlík or then Daniel Landa himself, whom I really like to listen to even today, you can see that even after years he is a very capable lyricist and knows catchy songs like “Reality Show” and the like. It was not possible to miss Škvory, Doga, Vypsaná Fixa and similar Czech bands, there was really a lot of it. Through the Czech scene, I relatively soon started discovering the wider world, mainly through the classic big four such as Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer. Heavy metal was then immediately added to that, where I went completely crazy about the band Iron Maiden, or Bruce Dickinson himself.. At various festivals such as Noc plná Hvězd, Hrachovka and the like at that time, I came across a lot of interesting bands such as Waltari, Exploited and the like. In those 24 years that have passed since then, there have been a lot of interesting bands.. It would probably take a long time to just mention each of them..

And what is your favorite band now? Everyone has a favorite!

I don't really have a favorite band, I'm very multi-genre, but I always like to go back to bands like Iron Maiden, Rammstein, Linkin Park, I also don't mind Vypsaná Fixa, Daniel Landa, Pink Floyd, Scorpions, Agnieszka Chylińska... so I choose listening more according to mood than according to a specific style of music.

Which brand from the Metalshop range do you like the most? And why?

I really like the brand with a tradition spanning over 70 years, which also produces high-quality footwear for rockers, bikers, DIY enthusiasts and teenagers alike... this brand is of course the famously known Dr. Martens.

What was the best concert or festival you ever attended, and why do you remember it so well?

I had a strong experience in Chorzów, Poland in 2009 when, as one of a 70,000-strong crowd, we watched the band U2, when they started playing the song New Year's Day.. the whole crowd started singing, and to that everyone raised white or red flags above their heads as a sign of Solidarity, so I had goosebumps :-) There were many similar experiences in my life, but this one came to my mind probably as the first when asked.
