Hi, can you tell us a little about yourself and introduce yourself?

Hi, actually, Roman already said everything, but I would like to add that on our first date, Roman invited me over and put headphones on me playing IRON MAIDEN - The Number of the Beast, and that was it! :) 

How long have you been listening to metal, and which band introduced you to it?

LED ZEPPELIN, SLADE, PINK FLOYD – these shaped my childhood. Then came IRON MAIDEN – as I already mentioned - Roman won me over with them on our first date :) SEPULTURA - ROOTS – another beautiful romantic evening by candlelight. :) Machine Head, SLAYER, PANTERA, MOTORHEAD - there is just so much that I like. 

And what is your favorite band now? Everyone has one favorite!

I don’t want to copy Roman, I would also love to say IRON MAIDEN, but my favorite is definitely MAX CAVALERA - when we organized a signing session for the Czech edition of his book at our Prague METALSHOP MEGASTORE, it was an incredible experience. 

Which brand from Metalshop’s selection do you like the most? And why?

Definitely KILLSTAR - not just their clothing but especially their home accessories, which not many brands offer! Then SULLEN - they have amazing designs on T-shirts that aren’t just black :) HYRAW - a great brand mainly for men, it's a shame they have so few items for women. And of course, great collections also come from DEVIL FASHION, and unique jewelry from ALCHEMY GOTHIC and ETNOX. 

What was the best concert or festival you have attended, and why was it so memorable?

There are so many that I don't know which one to highlight, it’s really a tough question for someone who has been to so many amazing concerts and festivals, picking based on what I enjoy and what I want to see and hear. Thinking back, I would probably go far into the past and into our region, where the first major festival in the Czech Republic - NOC PLNÁ HVĚZD (Night Full of Stars) - took place every year. We knew the organizers, we suggested the band SOULFLY to them, and thanks to us, in 2005, my dream came true - MAX CAVALERA, my biggest favorite, was on stage in Třinec :), I still get goosebumps thinking about it :) But I want to say that every festival and concert, with a few small exceptions, was an amazing experience for me, because those of us who grew up under communism finally got to start enjoying ourselves.
